Cuore del lavoro di Pavone, più importante ancora dell’esito

formale ultimo, è lo sviluppo del processo, intellettuale e fisico, di

configurazione dell’oggetto artistico. Le sue opere, sia che si tratti

di scultura, d’installazione ambientale, di grafica, tendono ad una

ricerca di coerenza organica della struttura interna, attraverso il

rapporto e l’equilibrio tra le singole componenti, sempre studiate, e

reimpiegate, in modo sperimentativo. Ecco dunque che i materiali, le

reazioni chimiche, le differenti parti, si amalgamano in composizioni

bilanciate, che si riflettono nell’armonia formale esterna.

The heart of Pavone’s work, which is more important still than the

formal outcome, is the development of the process, both intellectual

and physical, of formation of the artistic subject. His works, be it

sculpture, installations, or graphics, all tend towards a search for

organic coherence of the internal structure, through the relationship

and the balance between single components, which are always

examined and re-employed in an experimental way. That’s why the

materials, the chemical reactions, the different parts, mix together

into balanced compositions, which are reflected in an external

formal harmony.
